Refund Policy
1.Lesson Tuition
1.1. You are entitled to cancel Your lesson tuition up to 48 hours prior to your lesson.
1.2 Cancellation prior to the 48 hour notice, will entitle you to a refund of your lesson(s). If cancelled during the 48 hours then you will not
1.3. No refund is payable where a period of 2 months has lapsed since Your last lesson, unless agreed otherwise.
1.4. If You are entitled to any refund, You will be required to pay an administration charge of £40 to process the refund (the “Refund Charge”). The Refund Charge will be deducted from each refund that is paid back to You.
1.5. Where it is possible to do so, and We agree to refund You any amounts, We will do so using the same method You used when You made the payment. If for any reason We are unable to refund You using the same method with which You paid, We reserve the right to refund You by any other method We deem appropriate.
1.6. We may request additional information from You to confirm Your identity in order to comply with the Money Laundering Regulations 2007; We will also use this information to ensure adherence to Our Merchant Operating Instructions for card collection facilities.
1.7. Refunds may take up to 28 working days to reach You or Your account.
Advanced payment/block booking discount terms and conditions
1.8 If NO lessons are taken within 12 weeks of payment, no refunds are given.
2. Advanced payment/Block bookings
2.1 Refunds of advanced payment. Block bookings of 5 hours must be used up within 8 weeks from the date of your first lesson of that block. After this point they are no longer valid and no refunds will be given.
2.2. 10 hour blocks must be used within 13 weeks from the date of your first lesson of that block. After this point they are no longer valid and no refunds will be given.
2.3 Refunds from block bookings.
Any lesson taken from blocks will be charged at normal rate and refunds that are given will be whatever is left
3. Reschedule
3.1 any cancellation prior to 48 hours before the lesson can be rearranged if a refund is not preferred by the consumer.
3.2 any rearrangements or rescheduling is subject to the availability and consent of the instructor.
3.3 Dmw driving reserves the right to refuse rescheduling of lesson(s) if failure to attend on booked lessons twice; and, or due to lesson(s) being rescheduled twice because of the consumers request.
3.4 (i)any agreed rescheduling must take place within 6 months of notice to reschedule.
3.4 (ii) DMW driving can rescind such offer at any time and has no obligation to make any availability to the consumer.
3.4 (iii) if availability or agreement cannot be reached between the driving company and the consumer, within the 6 month rescheduling period; upon notice at least 48 hours before the lesson(s); then the Refund Policy, along with the terms and conditions agreed to upon original booking will apply.
